Meet Alondra, one of Exodus rising 5th-graders, as she tells us about her dreams, Operation Exodus, and who is Alondra?
Alondra is one of Exodus many rising students who are full of energy and motivation; She is one of the students that make Exodus great. Many times age comes to play when people see our students and see them as just kids but they are full of ideas, wisdom, and aspiration. This is why we sat down with her and asked her questions to know more about her.
Q: How are you in school?
A: I am doing well, My grades fall in between A and B’s. Luckily, I never failed a class or gone to summer school.
Q: What’s your favorite subject?
Math, I like numbers.
Q: What do you want to be when you grow-up?
A: I want to be an actress.
Q: Why do you want to be an actress?
A: Because I was inspired by movies, I love seeing how the actors create something on the screen out of simple things.
Q: What is your favorite Genre?
A: I like action, drama, and mystery.
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: 13 going on 30 – I cried when she turned back into 13.
Q: What do you like to do for fun?
A: Writing Songs.
Q: How long have you been in OE?
A: I’ve been here for every grade – Pre K to 5th.
Q: How do you like Operation Exodus?
A: I like it a lot, I would rate it 100 out of 100.
Q: What’s your favorite thing to do at Exodus?
A: To praise God.
Q: What do you want people to know about OE?
A: That Operation Exodus cares about you, they teach you about God and they always want to make sure you feel welcomed.
Q: What do you like about your current tutor, Jerry?
A: She cares about me and she’ll help you with anything.
Q: what do you appreciate about OE?
A: The food and there’s a lot of happiness.
Q; Who is Alondra?
A: I am 10 years old, I love music and wolves, and they’re my favorite animals. I have a little sister who I care about. It’s really important to me that she ends up in college and have a good life. My goal is that I can be an example to her.
Q: What advice would you give to your 21-year-old self?
A: Always be positive and never give up on your dreams.
Q: Your favorite quote?
A: My favorite quote comes from Miss Vianelly, my 4th-grade tutor. She told me, When someone calls you beautiful, smart goes before beautiful. That quote is my favorite one and has impacted me a lot.
