To Our Generous Friends & Family

“But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.” Luke 8:15

As Philip Vegdahl & Ann Charles celebrate their marriage on September 10th, 2016 we are humbled and honored that they would seek to glorify God by encouraging their guests to explore donation opportunities in lieu of wedding gifts, if they feel led to do so. This is the message that they shared with us:

“Our goal as we begin married life together is to continue to glorify God in all that we do. Ann and I share the belief that we are called to plant seeds, especially in the hearts of the poor and marginalized giving them hope that with Him, all things are possible, and a brighter future is ahead.

We are thankful for their generosity!

The mission of Operation Exodus is to plant seeds of hope in the hearts of  Latino youth in New York City who are in danger of becoming discouraged about education far too early in life. Usually due to language barriers, a lack of English literacy and or enrichment opportunities, these are children who begin school behind at least one grade level in literacy.

These are wonderful, bright kids who are loaded with potential that will fail to be realized, unless you can help. We work with the entire family to restore their faith in themselves, and in education as the most likely path out of poverty.

If you would like to make a donation to Operation Exodus in honor of Philip & Ann and their new life together, you may do so here!

We wish Philip & Ann many blessings on this special day, and throughout their life together.

Thank You!
